Vince Wiggins and the Social Groove

Vince Wiggins has played in the Colorado Front Range for over 25 years with top local musicians, notably Joe Bonner, Hugh Ragin, Carl Dixon, and Freddy Rodriquez Sr. Vince started playing flute at the age of 10 and got his inspiration from players like Hubert Laws, Herbie Mann and James Moody. The Vince Wiggins “Social Groove” performance will be musicians Dr. Hugh Ragin – Trumpet, Harold Summey – Drums, Max Moore – Piano, and Larry Hinley – Bass.
The Social Groove will be performing music from great composers of the late 60’s and 70’s. Social Groove band fuses Bebop, Post Bop, Latin jazz, Classical, Blues, 70’s funk and Hip hop, showcasing all the music genres to produce a Social Groove experience. The members of the band have both studied and lived through all the musical genres to contribute to a world beat feel. Social Groove offers audiences a chance to listen, dance or socialize, and will guarantee that you will pat your foot and move your body.
