Approved Budgets
The Denver Press Club, beginning with fiscal year 2020, approved a formal budget and will post those budgets going forward.

Funding Sources
The Denver Press Club, a 501(c)3 non-profit, receives funding through membership dues, two large in-person events — the annual Damon Runyon Award and the Hall of Fame banquet — sales of books, ticket sales from regular programming events, contributions from donors large and small, and interest from its endowment income.
The Press Benevolent Association, a C-Corp registered in the State of Colorado, receives funding through revenue from liquor and food sales at the Press Club’s bar, rental income from renting its commercial kitchen to an in-house caterer and outside event rentals. The Club’s employees are paid through the PBA.
In April 2020, the U.S. Small Business Administration granted the Press Benevolent Association a loan of $21,385.50 to cover two-and-a-half months of employee payroll as a result of revenue lost because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced many businesses, including the Club, to shut its doors in order to protect public health.
