Plenty going on this week at the club, with the SPJ/Colorado Press Women investigative journalism workshop on Monday, the hugely fun Chili Cookoff on Friday night and Tony Thompson's annual St. Patrick's Day Party on Saturday.

1. Our Runyon dinner is but one month away; please order  your tickets ASAP at www.blacktie-colorado.com (click under Denver events and April 9). We've already sold about 320 tickets; don't get shut out! And if you want to bring friends and family, remember that you can purchase as many tickets as you wish at the members' price of $80 each.
2. Earlier today, I sent you separate emails about Capitol Steps tickets going on sale (you can check on them below under May 16) as well as formal notice about the annual membership meeting (March 31).

• Thursday, March 11, Chicken Normandy (sautéed chicken breast with a brandy cream sauce), grilled vegetables, tossed salad, $10.00.
• Friday, March 12, Chili cookoff (no regular dinner service).
