Witness at Sand Creek, The Life and Letters of Silas Soule: Book Talk with Nancy Niero

Join us this Thursday for another Book Talk as The Colorado Sun reporter Kevin Simpson joins Rev. Dr. Nancy Niero in a discussion of her book, “Witness at Sand Creek: The Life and Letters of Silas Soule,” a collection of 25 letters written by Soule between 1860 and 1865. Soule was an abolitionist and a Union Army officer who refused to participate in the Sand Creek Massacre. Niero wrote an essay to accompany each of his letters.
