Laura Frank Caricature Reveal

On Sept. 25, the Denver Press Club will add Laura’s caricature to our Wall of Fame.

“Along the way, I’ve had the enormous good fortune to work with, learn from and occasionally cause trouble alongside some of the best journalists in the state, Laura said in a recent newsletter to members.

Long-time board member and secretary Laura Frank served on the board for eight years, and her thoughtful approach to governance and deep love of this club have been major factors in the press club you see today. From taking notes to offering guidance to holding her wedding in our great hall upstairs, her engagement has meant the world to the club, and we are thankful for having the opportunity to honor her in some small way.

“Journalism has given me an extraordinary career, but even more importantly, it has given me an extraordinary community. I’d love to have some of that community there — friends, colleagues, co-conspirators, former competitors and anyone else willing to raise a glass to Colorado journalism while pretending the caricature looks exactly like me…or maybe pretending it doesn’t look exactly like me!”

Please put 6 p.m. on Sept. 25 on your calendar, and join us as the Denver Press Club places Laura’s caricature on the wall. There will be hors d’oeuvres, fun, and, of course, Laura.
