2026 Legislative Reception

The Denver Press Club warmly invites reporters, correspondents, lawmakers, legislative aides and advisers, members of the executive branch, economists, budget-writers, lobbyists, nonpartisan staff, and anyone who conducts the people’s business under the Gold Dome for a special reception on Thursday, January 29 beginning at 4:00pm.
This is a relaxed, off-the-record opportunity to connect reporters and newsmakers united by their motivation to do right by Colorado as the Denver Press Club celebrates 100 years in our historic home. We know you’re busy, so there’s no formal program or agenda: Just come by as you’re able – but we sure would appreciate your RSVP so we can plan our menu.
Whether it’s your first time in to the Club or your five-thousandth, please mark your calendars for this special, once-annual opportunity to learn what makes Colorado’s Fourth Estate tick – and how we can collaborate in support of the First Amendment.
