DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an upcoming Photo Night\, April 10th\, featuring photographer Michael Ciaglo. Michael Ciaglo is an editorial and commercial photographer based in Denver\, Colorado. He began his career in the newspaper industry at The Colorado Springs Gazette\, where he was a photographer on the “Other Than Honorable” series that won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting. He later joined the photo staff of the Houston Chronicle covering events such as Hurricane Harvey and the Houston Astros World Series run before realizing he couldn’t handle the Texas summers and returned to Colorado to begin his freelance career. \nCiaglo now regularly works with national outlets including Getty Images\, The New York Times\, The Associated Press\, Bloomberg\, The Washington Post\, Reuters\, National Geographic and USA Today. He also brings his documentary approach to brand storytelling for clients such as UCHealth\, Sierra Space\, Fishpond and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. \nSome of his other numerous awards include recognitions by Pictures of the Year International\, National Press Photographers Association Best of Photojournalism and more than a dozen Colorado awards. DESCRIPTION:Rich Logis spent seven years as a devoted MAGA activist\, pundit and podcaster. He left the movement in 2022 after becoming disillusioned with its extremism and negative impact on American democracy. Not content to simply walk away\, Rich founded Leaving MAGA in 2024\, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization. Through public speaking\, writing\, and media appearances\, he works fervently to support those seeking a path out of radicalization. Rich refers to himself as a born-again human being\, and he believes that empathy and understanding are necessary to reduce political polarization. He is the author of the recently released memoir One Betrayal Too Many: Why I Left MAGA\, with a foreword by former U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger. \nOne Betrayal Too Many: Why I Left MAGA shows how intelligent\, well-intentioned people can be drawn into political movements – and how they\ncan find their way out.
