SUMMARY:Climate Progress in the Time of Trump
DESCRIPTION:During its first year in office\, the Trump administration has relentlessly worked to dismantle decades of progress on policies that address climate change\, protect habitat and wildlife and seek to protect people in communities.  While those efforts will have negative impacts on Western communities and the natural environment\, there are significant opportunities for state and local efforts to drive environmental\, climate and conservation outcomes.  WRA President Jon Goldin-Dubois has been on the front lines of climate and conservation policy initiatives in Colorado and across the Interior West\, resulting in millions of tons of climate warming emissions reductions\, the protection of over 2\,000 miles of rivers and streams and more than 8 million acres of Western landscapes. He will discuss current opportunities to drive effective policies to fight climate change and protect natural areas\, even in the face of harmful federal action. \nTICKETS HERE
