DESCRIPTION:In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month\, audio documentarian Tennessee Watson joins the Denver Press Club on Friday\, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. in this discussion presented by ColoRadio and Colorado Press Women. \nIt’s the 10th anniversary of Watson’s Peabody-nominated documentary series “Silent Evidence\,” produced as a season of the Heart podcast. In “Silent Evidence\,” Watson confronts her childhood sexual abuser\, documenting her decades-long journey to going public\, and her experience with the criminal justice system\, all the while asking larger questions that still feel relevant today: Why do survivors stay silent?
