DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an upcoming Photo Night\, April 10th\, featuring photographer Michael Ciaglo. Michael Ciaglo is an editorial and commercial photographer based in Denver\, Colorado. He began his career in the newspaper industry at The Colorado Springs Gazette\, where he was a photographer on the “Other Than Honorable” series that won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting. He later joined the photo staff of the Houston Chronicle covering events such as Hurricane Harvey and the Houston Astros World Series run before realizing he couldn’t handle the Texas summers and returned to Colorado to begin his freelance career. \nCiaglo now regularly works with national outlets including Getty Images\, The New York Times\, The Associated Press\, Bloomberg\, The Washington Post\, Reuters\, National Geographic and USA Today. He also brings his documentary approach to brand storytelling for clients such as UCHealth\, Sierra Space\, Fishpond and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. \nSome of his other numerous awards include recognitions by Pictures of the Year International\, National Press Photographers Association Best of Photojournalism and more than a dozen Colorado awards.
