SUMMARY:ColoRadio x The Denver Press Club
DESCRIPTION:Sarah Wambold\, executive producer for The Metropolitan Museum of Art\, joins ColoRadio to discuss using sound to tell stories about art. Register here!  \nSarah is the founder of Headroom Media\, a new creative agency focused on content strategy and production for cultural organizations. With more than 18 years of experience crafting content for art museums\, she has led content strategy and production for The Metropolitan Museum of Art\, the Clyfford Still Museum\, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. \nShe has been the executive producer on numerous award-winning productions\, including Immaterial\, Harlem Is Everywhere\, Met Stories\, MetKids Microscope\, and A Daughter’s Voice. \nSarah has also consulted for a range of cultural organizations\, including Art21\, the Biennial of the Americas\, Denver Botanic Gardens\, the Andy Warhol Museum\, and the J. Paul Getty Trust. In 2015\, she co-founded Tilt West\, a Denver-based nonprofit that promotes discourse on arts and culture in Colorado \nWHAT IS COLORADIO: Colorado is rich with audio artists\, podcast producers and radio professionals\, not to mention countless talented journalists who might be curious about the world of sound. Our goal is to connect and inspire by offering a regular space to elevate interesting and impactful work. Each month\, we invite speakers who are using audio to tell stories\, serve communities\, create art or all of the above. In partnership with the Denver Press Club\, each event is a conversation between one of us and a guest on a specific topic or project. Afterwards\, there’s time to snack\, socialize\, and build community. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date on future events! https://coloradio.beehiiv.com \nWHO IS COLORADIO: We are three Denver-based audio people who just wanna hang out and talk about audio and journalism. Esther Honig is a producer for StoryCorps and creates long-form journalism as a freelancer. Josh Mattison is a designer\, audio producer/artist and full time dad. Ann Marie Awad is editorial director for the Institute for Independent Journalists and also happens to be an independent journalist.
